“If you thought ‘Sex and the City’ was good…..you ain’t seen nothin’ yet”

For many years, women flocked to scripted TV shows like Living Single, Sex and the City, and Girlfriends. Books like “He’s just not that into you” and “Think Like a Man” flew off the shelves. Single women everywhere are continuously looking for answers to get them out of what I like to refer to as “The Dating Struggle”

Well I’m not here to tell you how to think like a man or tell you that some man isn’t into you. You know better. I’m here to share with you some of the craziest  and funniest stories told to me by various women, friends, and acquaintances of mine. Real dating struggles.  Of course I will occasionally offer my two cents (or dime as I like to call it) but I don’t’ claim to be an expert. But through life’s experiences, I’ve loved a lot, made a lot of mistakes (still making them), and like many women, I’ve had my heartbroken. Therefore, I think I can offer a couple of words of advice to my readers. Men too.

Week to week I will be sharing stories from my cast of characters so that we can keep up with what they are into and we will watch their dating struggles in hopes that they will develop into dating miracles and happily ever afters.

As a single 30 something year old woman with no kids, I have learned to find the humor in the crazy dating world. Being single isn’t all that bad though, however.  It has it’s ups and downs, just like being in a relationship does. So through TheDatingStruggle.com, we will laugh, cry, and celebrate our singleness.
We will also make fun of those people in totally messed up relationships just to avoid being single smh.

Sex and the City and Girlfriends were scripted shows that eerily mirrored real life many times. But The Dating Struggle is real and so are these stories!
The only thing fake are the names 🙂

Thanks for stopping by my loves.

Hugs, Kisses and all that mushy stuff,
