So this week’s #struggleoftheweek is sad, funny, and pitiful all at the same damn time.
This young lady I know who has been going through a series of dating struggles lately, went out with a guy a few months ago that she met on an online dating site.
They met up for the first time at Dave and Buster’s during Happy Hour. The date was was going well. They had a couple of drinks, decent conversation.
It was looking promising.
Until…
The date was coming to a close and neither one of them was ready for the date to end. They both agreed that they were hungry and Dave and Buster’s was about to close. She suggested that they go somewhere inexpensive and quick where they could go in, sit down and talk.
So she suggested Whataburger…
His reply?
“Whataburger isn’t really in my budget right now. How about we just go to your house and eat something?”
Now what now???
Someone put a capital L on this guy’s forehead for LOSER!!!!!!!
Word to the guys: If you’re broke, you probably don’t need to be dating and you definitely don’t need to be on an online dating site.
You can’t afford Whataburger?????
Needless to say she never saw that guy again.
The struggle continues…….
Well damn! LOL
He wasn’t broke, he was just trying to get to her house!
Who paid at Dave & Busters???
He paid but it was happy hour and the bill was less than 20 bucks.
We don’t have Whataburger but I’m sure it’s equivalent to Five Guys nd i agree with Tiffany he was trying go to her house
Actually Nik. Five Guys isn’t even a fair comparison. Whataburger is like Jack’s or McDonalds for that matter. Lol
He was definitely trying to skip to desert at her house. There’s no way a guy will agree to meet at D & B but can’t afford whataburger. Peep game ladies. This dude trying to get it in on the first night. Don’t invite a guy over to your place or go to his until you ready for that. Some guys can handle it, but most guys can’t. Understand the nature of the beast you’re dealing with!
He was probably judt cheap and thought he could get her into bed.
